Dean Heim & Co. started in Ilkley with one idea: design and build should happen under one roof. Not concepts handed off to contractors, not mood boards followed by months of coordination. One team, one process, from brief to finished space.
We are now a six-person interior design studio. Based in North Yorkshire, serving Yorkshire and beyond. Interior design, made-to-order joinery, art curation, and project management, all handled by our own people. Private homeowners and property developers across Yorkshire come to us because we handle everything, and we handle it well.

Not just concepts and mood boards. We deliver everything, from initial design through to final installation, managed by one team. No handoffs, no communication gaps, no gaps between what was promised and what was built.
In-house joinery and cabinetry
Our joinery is designed and built by our own people, not subcontracted. That means better quality control, tighter lead times, and pieces built to the exact dimensions of your space.
Art curator partner on the team
Ben Winterburn, our art curator partner, brings a genuine art background to every project. He sources and places work that gives spaces character and personality. His family includes world-renowned sculptor Steve Winterburn.
We understand development because we do it ourselves
Our sister company Moorfield Developments runs our own residential schemes. That means we understand development from the inside, the budgets, the programme, and what actually sells, and it shapes how we work with developer clients.
